Fifteen months ago we started a Twitter account for our mission work in Honduras and now we have sent out our 1,000th tweet. That is 2.2 tweets every day. That means if you follow us on Twitter you are receiving pictures, videos, and prayer requests you can’t get anywhere else, twice a day. On Twitter we send out information about our family, our missions team, our ministry and the people of Honduras…directly to your smart phone, tablet or computer.
We believe we have been called to serve in Honduras. But, we also believe you have been equally called to pray for and support God’s work in Honduras. If that is indeed true it is incumbent upon us to keep you informed and provide you with the information you need to pray in a timely and intelligent way.
Why are we using Twitter? The year-to-year growth of Twitter has been unparalleled. There are currently over 140 million Twitter users. According to Arbitron those who use Twitter are “very inclined” to be dedicated to Twitter, many even using it as their primary source of information and news gathering.
Twitter is an easy and free way for us to communicate quickly and succinctly to those who want information about God’s work in Honduras. To follow us on Twitter go HERE.
