The Americas Day today as Honduras calls it - Columbus Day as we call it.
I was thinking about and meditating on this, thinking, because of geography and how the Lord arranged the continents, English settlers, settled in Northern America, not Southern America. Certainly, the wickedness of the people in both North and South America were no different when Columbus set sail and landed on this hemishphere. But because of His unmerited favor He blessed our nation with a rich country and a rich heritage like men like Jonathon Edwards leaving the lower parts of the Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere with political instability, or poverty or socialism.
But He is doing some wonderful things with folks like you tearing down the evil and wicked hold of Roman Catholicism and teaching the people the true gospel.
Pray for our nation and state, Mike. It's no secret where I stand and hope the direction our state and nation will go on Nov. 4. Our nation seems to be shoving the Lord off by being more worried about their portfolios, homes, and who they can depend on. Pray that the Lord will remember mercy for the unborn and His church.
