90-Day Visas, New York And D.C. Part 3
Mike and Madison’s 90 day visas expired so it is time for them to leave the country. Mike found some disgustingly cheap roundtrip tickets to New York City. So, Mike and Madison are spending a few days in New York and Washington D.C.
On Monday we went to the American Museum of Natural History and spent much of the day there and on Tuesday we went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and spent most of the day there. Madison and Mike both had a great time at these two places. We walked until we could walk no more.
On Tuesday Mike met with two staffers from Redeemer Presbyterian Church to share how God is working in Honduras. Mike met with the Coordinator of Global Outreach for Redeemer’s Church Planting Center and he met with Redeemer’s Senior Director of Finance and Operations. Both men were excited to hear about our work in Honduras.
On Wednesday Mike and Madison took a quick flight over to Washington, D.C. They will spend three days taking in the sites and having additional meetings with churches to share God’s work in Honduras.
We will return to Honduras on Saturday, April 11th.
