Arizona II – Day 9 of 10
Another great day in the Phoenix area.In the morning Mike preached at Covenant Community Church. Mike preached on evangelism and missions. After service we went out to lunch with several families from Covenant. This congregation is one of our biggest supporting churches. They are very active in missions. Covenant has been so good to us and we are excited to have them as members of Team Honduras. We appreciate their prayers and all they have already done for us.
In the evening we gave a 45 minute missions presentation at Desert Palms Presbyterian Church. We met with the Missions Committee from this congregation back in February. The congregation was very excited about our work in Honduras. They asked many questions and prayed for us. Many individuals agreed to support us through prayer and financial support.
Both of these churches were so receptive and loving to us. We look forward to visiting them again when we return to Phoenix. Both congregations are members of the Presbyterian Church in America.
