Church In English And Spanish
The eight-person mission team from Covenant Presbyterian Church of Paso Robles, CA enjoyed their first full day in Honduras.
After brunch and a tour of La Ceiba the team joined us for Gringo Church. Erin led us through singing and John guided us through prayer. Mike preached a message from Romans 10 and talked about worshiping God with your head and your heart. Pastor Katches of Covenant administered communion for our team. This was a great joy as it will be the last time we will receive communion until March.
Following dinner we all went out to Armenia Bonito and worshiped in Spanish at a local Honduran church. The team didn’t understand the sermon much. But, it was a good experience to see others worshiping and to worship beside those we will be serving this week.
