Clarksburg Community Church
It is exciting to announce that Clarksburg Community Church of Clarksburg, CA has agreed to support our missions efforts. This brings our number of supporting churches to 15.
Clarksburg Community Church is an independent congregation associated with the United Church of Christ. They are located in Clarksburg (population 1,200), just across the Sacramento River from our home church in Elk Grove. This exciting congregation is ably lead by Pastor Dennis Montzingo. They have a heart for the Great Commission and have supported Central American missionaries in the past. They are also active in sending members on short-term missions trips.
Clarksburg Community Church holds a very special place for us. Back in early 2007, when we were raising support fulltime, we visited over 40 churches in an eight month period. Clarksburg Community Church was the final church we visited before we got on the airplane bound for Central America.
We welcome them to Team Honduras, and we look forward to working with and praying for them in the future.
