Dorm Facility For Summer 2011?
In La Ceiba, Honduras we will soon construct a dormitory facility on the property of our downtown ministry center. The purpose of this dorm is to better facilitate a growing number of short-term missionaries who are visiting and working in Honduras. This dorm building will sleep close to 60 visiting missionaries.
Our mission team and our Honduran attorney are working with engineers and local municipal officials to complete legal requirements. Simultaneously Honduran workers have begun digging a foundation for the building. Heavy rains, government regulations and inconsistent financing have proven to be a challenge in recent months.
We already have 11 short-term mission teams scheduled to visit us in the summer of 2011. But, will the dorm be done in time to facilitate these missionaries? John Clow, our teammate and a construction expert, has confidence that the first floor of the dorm could be done for use this summer.
Without additional finances and your prayers this project will not get done for use this summer.
