Erin in North Africa, Part 3
Just got an update from Erin in North Africa. Their medical team has no access to computers, so she wanted to apologize for the lack of contact. She promises lots of pictures and stories when she gets home. All is well. They have had no major problems.
They are very busy. The team has been running a medical clinic every day. They have been treating patients from 8:00am to 10:30pm each day. They have treated over 450 patients so far.
On Sunday they will operate a medical clinic after church at two different church services. And, they are planning on operating medical clinics each day until they leave (3/23).
There is no Pediatric Doctor on the team. Erin, a Pediatric Nurse, is the only person with experience treating children. So, she has been treating the bulk of the children, and has even been prescribing medication for the kids (a Nurse can not prescribe medication in the U.S.).
The entire team is exhausted. But, they love treating these people in the name of Christ. The people seldom, if ever, receive quality medical treatment. They are greatly appreciative. Please pray for the health and stamina of the team members.
