Final Day Of Medical Madness

breathing treatmentOn Thursday the 10-person medical team from Trinity Presbyterian of Harrisburg, PA completed their fourth and final day of clinic in Honduras. It was the busiest day of clinic for the team.

Over the four days of clinic the team treated 72 ultrasound patients, 79 dental patients and 181 general medical patients. In all the team treated 332 medical patients in four days of medical clinics in the poor community of Armenia Bonito. In addition, the team instructed 125 kids at Wednesday's health education day. These are services that most residents can't afford.

This was Trinity's third visit to Honduras and we look forward to working with them in the future. Their hands and hearts have made such an impact on our ministry and our team. On Friday they take a well deserved day of rest and fly out early Saturday.
