Getting The Word Out
Erin, and our great house guest Anne, spent several days this week out in the poor neighborhood of Arminia Bonito handing out flyers and introducing our ministry to the residents. Arminia Bonito is where we are going to be hosting a free medical clinic next week for two days.
They handed out flyers promoting the clinic. We had four people look at the flyers in advance to make sure we got the Spanish correct. Who would have ever thought that writing and copying a simple half sheet flyer could be so difficult?
Erin and Anne were greatly received. They were told that the clinic was a great idea and that it would be greatly appreciated. They were invited into a few houses and had a few long conversations. They even had a chance to meet with the community “President” who welcomed them with open arms.
