Go Climb A Mountain
Thursday was a very busy day for our short-term mission team from East Lanier Community Church in Buford, GA.
The team put on a medical clinic in Armenia Bonito and treated 58 patients. While the clinic was going on another part of the team continued construction on the renovations of a widow’s house. Some of them even picked up trash in the community.
In the afternoon they all continued with World Cup related soccer ministry. They organized and refereed soccer games for the boys, girls and youth of the community.
Friday was the team’s day off and they hiked part way up the beautiful Pico Bonito mountain. They traveled through the rain forest and ate lunch at the base of a beautiful waterfall and pond. It was an amazing hike.
Back in Atlanta Mike concluded his business on a successful trip of recruiting, raising support and training missionaries. On Saturday he will return to Honduras.
