Ida And Mike In Columbia
Ida dropped below hurricane status just before in crossed into Honduras. So, the winds are down, but we are still a little concerned about the rains. The heaviest rains are expected Friday night or Sunday morning.
Mike has finished with the leadership conference in Bogota, Colombia. He is spending a day with our friend Cam, who is a missionary in Bogota.
The conference was a great opportunity for Mike to spend time with and learn from 40 Latin American missionaries and national workers. Many of these missionaries have been on the field for over 20 years and had lots of ideas and insight to share.
The conference was 12 hours each day. There were speakers Christ centered preaching, cross-cultural evangelism, and much more. There were also reports as to how ministry was going each country. Ninety percent of the entire conference was delivered in Spanish.
Mike learned a great deal that he will bring back to Honduras.
