Last Visit To La Carpio In 2008
Today Madison and Mike made our 4th trip to La Carpio in the past 14 days. This is a ministry that we are growing to rapidly love. La Carpio is a squatter village where the poorest of the poor live at a landfill.We played with the kids, shared the Christmas story with them and just loved on them for four hours. Fifty kids were there today. Both Mike and Madison made a few new friends.
The organizer of this ministry, an American from Texas, is returning home for a few weeks. So this is our last trip to La Carpio until January.
