Let the Goodbyes Begin
We are scheduled to leave on August 27th (13 days from now). Even though we still have some finances to raise and still have things to sell (like a truck), we are very focused on making sure we say our goodbyes properly. On Monday we left Phoenix and said goodbye to our very close friends, the McKeowns. Last night, after a day of driving, we spent the evening with Mike’s brother and his family.
We have lived in California for over 38 years and in Sacramento for 20 years. We have been at our church for almost nine years. With this we have made many close friends and we want them all to know that we love them. It is very important to us that we spend sufficient time saying goodbye and thanking those who have been so involved in our lives.
