Mandatory Week Of Lazy
June was one of the busiest periods in the two-year history of our ministry. We hosted four short-term mission teams in four weeks. That resulted in a whole bunch of back-to-back 12-hour days for our team. We got lots of great work done, but now our team is tired and glossy eyed.
This week is our recovery week. We have no scheduled ministry, preparation or work. Our team has earned a forced week of relaxation.
On July 10th we will receive our next short-term team. They will be the first of three teams in three weeks. But, until then it is time to rest. So far we are all doing what we usually do in our time off - Mike has gotten sick, Erin is cooking and Madison on the computer.
