New Student Orientation
New student orientation began yesterday for the 55 new students attending the Spanish Language Institute. Mike and Erin are helping out every day with orientation.
Yesterday we gave campus tours to the new students. Today we participated in the discussion on moral purity. We acted in two skits to exhibit to the new students inappropriate behavior with other missionaries. In both skits we demonstrated examples of seemingly innocent conduct and comments that can lead to moral failings.Sexual sins are the number one reason missionaries leave the field early. It is important to enforce the need for appropriate limitations. While no Academy awards were obtained, we enjoyed the opportunity to help others raise their guard against possible struggles.
