Pettengills In The U.S. - Entry 1
Yesterday we boarded our first flight in La Ceiba at 2:50pm. We landed in San Francisco, CA at 11:30pm. Mike’s sister and brother-in-law picked us up and drove us to Mike’s parents in Roseville. We arrived at 2:30am and went straight to bed. Man it is cold.
We will be in California for nine days. During that time we will make eight church visits and dozens of visits with friends and family. We are making the trip to share with everyone how the Lord is working through us in Honduras and to visit with friends and family.
When we leave California on January 29th we will head over to Arizona to continue visiting churches and friends.
Continue to follow our blogs to keep informed about this visit. What old favorite foods will make us sick? How many times will we slip into Spanish during a conversation? What reverse culture shock will we experience? But, most importantly, how will God use our time.
