Pettengills In The U.S. - Entry 7
Saturday Erin and Maddy boarded a flight for Honduras. They took with them 12 Army duffle bags full of school, medical and soccer supplies for the kids of Honduras. It is exciting to report that they were able to get through Honduran customs with out any problems.
Mike will remain in Arizona for another weak. He will be there visiting with a half a dozen more churches.
On Sunday Mike attended two churches. In the morning Mike attended Desert Palms Presbyterian Church in Chandler. Mike was privileged to deliver the Sunday School message at 9:00am and then preach during the service at 10:30am. The Sunday School lesson was on “Evangelism” and the sermon was on “Loving the Unlovable”. After service the church hosted a lunch for Mike to meet the members.
In the evening Mike attended Phoenix United Reformed Church in downtown Phoenix. After the service Mike was invited to share with the congregation how God is working in Honduras.
