Pettengills In The U.S. - Entry 8
On Monday Mike had dinner with a group from Covenant Community Church in Scottsdale. The meeting was with people who will participating in a Summer mission trip to Honduras. Covenant will be joining us for a short term trip in June. Lots of good food and conversation with some fun people.
On Tuesday Mike spent much of the day with the Pastor from Desert Palms Presbyterian Church in Chandler. Mike and Pastor Hand had breakfast, talked and prayed. It was a great time of fellowship with a man who truly loves and wants to glorify the Lord. Desert Palms has been a great supporter of the work God is doing in Honduras.
Back in Honduras Erin got the home fires burning hot again. She got the Severinghaus family settled into their new home. The Severinghauses are a family that will join our team for the next four months. Our team taught an English class Tuesday and had lunch in Armenia Bonito with some of our friends. They are all working on sorting the school supplies for distribution in the community.
