Pettengills In The U.S. - Entry 9
On Wednesday Mike met with the Elders at Morningside Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Phoenix. Mike joined them for an hour to share what is happening in Honduras. Morningside has been dedicated to praying for our work for the past two years. The group was very engaged and asked lots of questions. At the conclusion of the meeting we spent some time praying for Honduras and Morningside.
Back in Honduras Erin and our team are very busy. They have been sorting through school supplies and making arrangements to distribute them in Armenia Bonito. They hosted our new teammates; the Severingauses, and another mission family for dinner on Wednesday. Thursday the team will be hosting their weekly health clinic and an English class in Armenia Bonito.
Mike is putting the final touches on the presentations he will be making this weekend. Saturday and Sunday he will be speaking at the Mission Conference hosted by Covenant Community Church of Scottsdale. There are already over 100 people registered for the conference. This is an event Mike has been looking forward to for months.
