Praying In Parque Bosque
The neighborhood three blocks from us is called El Bosque. In recent weeks there has been a rash of illegal behavior, dangerous activities and arrests in this community.
Several of the local evangelical churches decided to get together in the center of the neighborhood at Parque Bosque (forest park) today. They organized a sort “take back the neighborhood” type event. For three hours they prayed and sang worship music over a PA system.Parque Bosque is fine during the day. However, we have discovered that it is not the place to be after dark, and should be avoided at night.
Madison and Mike attended the event and joined in the prayers and worship. Thirty people attended. It was a great affair.
