Purchasing Property For The Ministry
We are in the process of purchasing two parcels of land for our ministry. We have signed contracts and placed a 10% deposit on two parcels. The purchase of both properties should be final in about a month.
The first parcel is approximately ¾ of an acre in downtown La Ceiba. It is an empty lot with a huge mango tree and is surrounding by homes. This property will be used by our entire mission team as a ministry center for all of La Ceiba. We have not finalized our building plans, but this site could be used for any and/or all of the following – dorm for short term mission teams, church, medical clinic, street child drop in center, small high school and small seminary. For this property we have all of the money needed to buy the property. We have much of the money needed to start construction, but likely not all we need to finish.
The second property is two acres in the middle of Armenia Bonito. It is relatively flat at surrounded by protected rain forest and beautiful mountains. This property will be used to advance our ministry in the 3,000-person community of Armenia Bonito. On this site we will likely build a medical clinic, church building, high school and a small community soccer field. For this property we have all the money needed to buy the property, but nothing for construction.
Our team has not finalized our construction desires or building schedule. We will be completing that soon. Please pray for two things – 1) that we plan, design and construct structures that allow us to advance God’s plan perfectly, and 2) that we are able to rapidly raise all the money we need to start and complete the construction.
