Stomachs, Snakes And Stones
Monday afternoon Mike taught an English lesson to eager class in Armenia Bonito. Many of the residents there view English as an important tool needed in getting a better job in Honduras.
The class started with a lesson on body parts. Mike played a game that got increasingly more difficult and required the students to draw the body part that Mike said in English. The second part of the class involved English terms for animals. The final portion of the class was reading and pronunciation. The class read a simplified story of the stoning of the woman.
The class is doing a wonderful job and improving each week.
