The End Of A Great Weekend
We just got home after a six hour bus ride. We spent the weekend in the north-west corner of Costa Rica at Guanacastea. This is a small little town on the Pacific coast.We stayed in a cheap (read: dumpy, moldy and bug infested) little hotel that was walking distance from the beach. Maddy and Mike hung out on the beach all weekend while Erin went scuba diving. Erin is now officially a certified scuba diver. This was a very relaxing and incredibly inexpensive (compared to the U.S.) weekend. It was great to recharge our batteries.
Erin took a total of four dives. Maddy spent hours body surfing. And, Mike did lots of reading and napping. We all did a little homework and got lots of opportunity to practice our Spanish with the locals. Back to school on Monday.
