Toilets, Tile And Trust
It is astonishing to see just how fast our workers have progressed on our downtown ministry center. They are racing towards trying to complete the first floor of our dorm building by the time our first summer mission team arrives on June 4th. If they can’t get the dorm completed in time the visiting missionaries will sleep in our personal home.
The problem is not a lack of time it is the lack of finances. Our workers told Mike Monday that if we would just allowed them to work faster they could get the dorm livable and safe by June 4th. The problem is we don’t have the finances needed to let our workers build at a faster pace.
We are so close to being done. In reality all we need is paint, drywall, ceiling fans, windows, doors, light fixtures, tile, toilets and trust that Jesus can provide it all. Jesus rose from the grave and healed the sick, He’s not worried about a couple of toilets…but we are. Jesus can provide us toilets, but what He wants is our trust and faith in Him that HE will provide the toilets in HIS time.
Here is one of the two completed dorm rooms. Each room, when finished, will sleep 16 people. Each room will have a bathroom complete with three showers, three sinks and three toilets. It will be cool, secure and comfortable.
The room pictured here is a Team Honduras apartment. It will allow one of our experienced teammates to live on the grounds with their own private living quarters and bathroom. Having an experienced missionary live on the grounds adds an extra layer of comfort and trust for the visiting missionaries.
Our team doesn’t need the toilets, tile or finances to complete this dorm by June 4th. What our team needs is the trust and faith in God that He will provide the toilets, tile and finances. Please be in prayer that we possess the intense faith to trust in our Father’s perfect timing.
