Two Worship Services On Sunday
Our short-term mission team from Soaring Oaks Presbyterian Church of Elk Grove, California and Faith Presbyterian Church of Sonoma, California joined us for two worship services on Sunday.
First we held an English language church service in our home. This afternoon service is how we remain spiritually fed in our heart language. Pastor Andrews, from the team, led us in worship.
In the evening we went out to Armenia Bonito to attend church there. Again, three of the youth from the visiting team sang a worship song for the congregation. They sang “Be lifted up”. We were joined in the worship service by many people we had met the previous week and then met many more.
With the help of a translator, Pastor Andrews preached a message from Ephesians. His words were very well received. The Honduran Pastor expressed great gratitude that his congregation could be blessed by God’s gift of these visitors.
The team now prepares for their final two days of service before they leave on Wednesday.
