Veggie Tales And Bullies
On Tuesday we hosted our weekly kids club. It was a special Veggie Tales edition. We started with soccer, jump rope and wiffle ball (a new addition to are gamming list). We had about 30 kids attend.
Mike and one of the kids then performed skit on the options you have when facing a bully. This is a very real problem for many of these kids. We then showed the Veggie Tales cartoon dealing with God’s answer to bullies. Who knew Larry and Bob could speak Spanish? Each kid got animal crackers to snack on during the show. We concluded with a Veggie themed coloring project. The focus of the day was Matthew 5:44.
Projected movies are a rare treat for these kids. They come for the movie and stay for the Biblical message.
