Working On Two Roofs
The workers in Honduras are diligently erecting roofs on two buildings for our ministry center in Armenia Bonito.
In the two-story high school building they have welded into place the steel framing necessary for a sturdy roof. After they bolt the corrugated tin into place it will protect the structure and the workers from the driving rain and oppressive sun. Following the completion of the roof the workers will begin finishing work on the inside of the second floor.
Ten meters away, at the indoor soccer field, the laborers are welding together the framing for the massive roof that will sit 20 feet off of the floor bellow. Since Honduras is prone to hurricanes this precise angular welding is very important. Once these support arms are completed they will be welded together and anchored in place using a crane. The A-frame roof will provide great protection from the elements.
Our workers are perfecting new skills to make this ministry center a reality.
