Youth Group X2
On Friday night we discovered that there are two high school age youth groups that go on simultaneously. The first one is FLAME a youth group started two years ago that meets in downtown La Ceiba. The second is a brand new youth group that meets at one of the churches in Armenia Bonito. Our team attended both last night.
Mike organized all the games for FLAME. The night’s activities included straw water relay race, grape toss for distance and toilet paper mummy. The kids had a great time. After social time and the games the leader of the group, David, lead the youth in a continuing study on “Giving God Your All”.
Andy, Josh and Jamie drove out to Armenia Bonito and attended the new youth group. The youth sang, prayed and received a message from one of the leaders. Josh was invited to play guitar for the group. Andy was invited to lead the study for next week.
This is one of the blessings of having a larger team. We can be on opposite sides of town simultaneously making an impact. Amen!
