October 31st marks the 490th anniversary of the day Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door at Wittenberg, Germany, thus, by many accounts, launching the Protestant Reformation.This evening the Pettengills organized 
a Reformation Party for the other missionaries, and their children, who attend language school with us here in Costa Rica. Erin and Madison organized games and dished out junk food. We prayed, sang hymns and Mike told the Reformation story to all the kids. The missionaries were excited to have a touch of home, and some experienced a Reformation Day celebration for the first. We were happy to serve our fellow missionaries.
