90-Day Visas, New York And D.C. Part 2

Mike and Madison’s 90 day visas expired so it is time for them to leave the country.  Mike found some disgustingly cheap roundtrip tickets to New York City.  So, Mike and Madison are spending a few days in New York and Washington D.C.

Our 18 hours of travel on Saturday went without a hitch.  Three busses, two airplanes, and one subway train later we arrived in New York City.

On Sunday we attended Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan.  This is one of the most influential churches in the country.  It was great to attend an English language service and hear such a solid sermon.

After church on Sunday we had lunch with a team of short term missionaries from Redeemer that will be joining us in Honduras for a mission trip in August.  We were able to share more information with them and help them to better understand the community and the work they will be doing.  Mike provided them with packets of information to take home and review.  What a great group of folks.  We can’t wait to have them down.

In the evening we ate sushi and watched a Broadway musical.  We had a great time.

We will return to Honduras on Saturday, April 11th.
