90-Day Visas, New York And D.C. Part 4 – Final

Mike and Madison’s 90 day visas expired so it is time for them to leave the country.  Mike found some disgustingly cheap roundtrip tickets to New York City.  So, Mike and Madison are spending a few days in New York and Washington D.C.

Maddy in D.C.After some major transportation problems on Wednesday we arrived late in the day in Washington, D.C.  Thanks to Priceline we discovered that we had our second great hotel at a ridiculously low price.

On Thursday Mike had a meeting with the Missions Coordinator at Grace Presbyterian Church of Washington, DC.  He shared God’s work in Honduras and our vision for expanding the ministry.  We were excited to learn that Grace DC is active with MTW’s ministries in Thailand and Peru.

Mike and Madison spent the rest of Thursday taking in the sites.  We saw the Capitol Building, the National Museum of Natural History and National Air and Space Museum.

On Friday, our last full day on U.S. soil, we visited the National Museum of American History.  After that we took in the sites.  We saw the White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and the war memorials (WW2, Korea and Vietnam).

We fly back to Honduras on Saturday, April 11th.
