Sunday was our final day in Chattanooga, TN attending MTW’s Global Missions Conference. Over 2,000 people attended this conference to learn more about missions and how they can get more involved.
Mike, Erin, Madison and our teammate Kate DeFuniak put in over 40 hours at the Honduras information booth. Over 600 informational packets were handed out. Our team talked to dozens of potential short-term missionaries, interns and long-term prospects.
At one of the general session meetings a five-minute informational video was shown to the 2,000 participants highlighting our work in Honduras.
On Saturday Mike presented at two seminars. At the first presentation Mike talked to 40 participants about “Glorifying God Through Better Communication”. In the second presentation Mike moderated a four-person panel (including himself) on “Bridging Cultures To Care For At-Risk Children”.
This conference was a large benefit towards raising support and awareness about our ministry.
