May 8th is Mother’s Day. It is also MTW’s annual Street Child Sunday. This is the day that MTW asks churches to promote their work with homeless kids. Each year MTW sends out a bulletin insert to help draw focus to one region working with homeless kids.
This year MTW is focusing Street Child Sunday on our work in Honduras. Specifically they are telling the story of one of kids we work with daily – Oneida. The bulletin insert, that will be made available for thousands of churches to use, tells the story of how Oneida was an outcast in Armenia Bonito. It talks about how this mute and neglected girl became involved in our ministry and entered our hearts.
If you would like to read the insert or download a copy for your church to use in their bulletins you can download it here.
