Our eighth short-term mission team of the summer has arrived. A 10-person medical team from Trinity Presbyterian of Harrisburg, PA arrived late Saturday night with all 20 of their suitcases. Most of the team’s bags are medicine and medical supplies and they had no problems getting through customs.
Seven of the 10 members are medically trained. They will be hosting numerous clinics and education days. They have a sonogram, a dentist, three doctors, three nurses and a physical therapist. This group will have the opportunity to do some amazing things in Armenia Bonito. Several participants on this team are veteran missionaries, and some have worked with us in Honduras in the past.
If you want to follow the team’s activities this week we will be posting daily updates. To receive pictures, stories and prayer needs about Trinity’s work follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and this blog.
