The eight-person mission team from Covenant Presbyterian Church of Paso Robles, CA worked hard in Honduras on Monday.
The day began with construction. The team continued work on a new house for a single mom and her three kids. They built the walls higher with cinderblocks and began work on the doors and windows. Later in the morning the guys worked at our ministry center lifting steal beams for the roof of our indoor soccer field.
In the afternoon the group from Covenant helped us teach an English class to our students in Armenia Bonito. They worked individually with Hondurans on reading and proper pronunciation. Many of the team from Covenant made new friends with the Honduran kids. Many of the missionaries were nervous, but did a great job.
