Faith From Maryland Invades Honduras

This week we are hosting Faith Presbyterian Church of LaVale, MD. Faith is our 3rd (of 16) short-term mission team of the summer. This team of 11 missionaries will serve the entire week in Armenia Bonito.

On Sunday they attended Gringo Church and Honduran church. The received their orientation and were trained in Darkness to Light, a child abuse prevention program.

The group from Faith has a great balance of medical professionals, Spanish speakers and construction workers. The medical missionaries will host full day medical clinics three days this week. The rest of the crew will begin construction on a new home for a poor family. They will also help us put on an English class and Kids Club.

This team came loaded with medical supplies. The medicine they are donating is very expensive here and will help to change the lives of many people. This is not only a great blessing for the 3,000 residents of Armenia Bonito, but also for our entire ministry.
