Paint, Patients And Play

Valley Springs Presbyterian Church is our 10th (of 16) short-term mission team of the summer. This 10-person team is from in Roseville, CA.  Their weeklong mission trip in Honduras is coming to an end.

On Wednesday they did construction work on our downtown ministry center and then took a large group of kids to the river for the afternoon. These kids seldom get adult or older adolescent interaction.

Thursday was a full and busy day. Part of the team did patient intake at our medical clinic in Armenia Bonito. They took vitals and prayed with 35 patients.

Another group from the team did construction on two new houses for poor families in the community. Additionally, they helped us paint the sign in front of our ministry center.

In the afternoon several of the team joined our StreetChild ministry and took a few homeless kids for few hours on the river.

It has gone by so fast, and the team from Valley Springs leaves La Ceiba on Saturday. Thanks for all the work guys.
