Two great short-term mission teams have worked hard all week with us here in Honduras and on Saturday will bringing their work to an end.
The team from Faith Presbyterian Church of Ballentine, SC has continued giving sewing lessons to the ladies at young mother’s home, Puerta de Esperanza. The team also helped teach an English class in the community of La Fe. They spent some time down at the river learning to wash clothes and washed kids’ hair. They also did construction work in La Fe and at our downtown ministry center. The team also concluded a four day dental clinic where they treated 83 patients.
The team from Rincon Mountain Presbyterian Church of Tucson, AZ has spent their time working in Armenia Bonito. They have been doing construction work on two new homes for poor families. They helped finish the home for the Ochoa family and began a home for the Hernandez family. They have also spent much time playing with the kids in the community.
These two teams have served as our 11th and 12th (of 16) short-term mission teams for this summer.
