Our two short-term mission teams have had a wet and very active first two days. Trinity Presbyterian from Pennsylvania and Grace Community from Alabama have been working hard. The combined 26 laborers are greatly benefitting our ministry.
On Sunday the team joined us for our weekly Gringo Church. Mike preached on idols from 1 Samuel and Pastor Bryars served us the Lord’s Super. The group took a tour of La Ceiba and participated in child abuse prevention training. In the evening we all attended Honduran Spanish church.
On Monday morning we all started in the community of La Fe. The medical contingency put on a medical clinic that served 120 patients. The non-medical folks did some clean up of our ministry site in the morning, and in the afternoon went out to Armenia Bonito to teach an English class.
The heavy rain has been a great blessing in keeping the temperature down.
