How Should Missionaries Communicate?

communicationWe believe we have an amazing team of praying and supporting individuals and churches who care about us and what God is doing in Honduras. Communicating God’s work in Honduras plays no small role in that. The more you know, the more you know how to pray.

We’d like to take a one blog-post break from our normal missions reporting and ask you a small favor. Will you take two-minutes to answer this anonymous 10-question survey? The survey is on the topic of communication in missions.

Answering this questionnaire will help us do two things – 1) refine our own missions communication to better fit those who pray for us and support us, and 2) enable us to benefit other missionaries and improve their communication.

In March Mike will be teaching a communication class to several dozen new missionaries. He will be helping them create a foundation to better communicate with their supporters. The results of this survey will be shared with the new missionaries. Quality missionary communication is an important issue for us. To better promote this topic Mike wrote the article, Missionaries Should Communicate – and Churches Should Demand It.

Thank you for your valuable time and for helping us to improve communication between missionaries and supporters.

  1. Dear Mike,
I think it great that you are doing a survey to find out what your friends and partners would like in terms of communication. I’ve been thinking about getting feedback through a survey, but haven’t done it yet. I’d love to hear about what you find out!
Thank you and blessings on your ministry in Honduras.
    In Him,
Aaron, from our mission field in Cameroon, Africa
