Medical Mercies To The Poorest Of Honduras

photo 1Our team is hosting 23 short-term missionaries. The group contains mostly medical missionaries, several youth and a few non-medical missionaries.

The group has been doing some construction and relationship building, but their primary focus has been hosting daily medical clinics in our church planting communities.

On Monday we hosted a medical clinic in La Delicias and treated 203 patients. This site is our newest church plant community and this helps us make a massive impact for God’s glory.

photo 2On Tuesday we returned to the community of La Fe and hosted a medical clinic their for the first time in over seven months. This is one of the four communities where we have an active church. In this super-poor community we served 152 patients.

On Wednesday the group went to Armenia Bonito where we planted our first church 18 months ago. At our existing medical clinic we treated 125 patients.

This medical team contains a few medical specialists who are providing great blessings to these communities. They photo 3include a physical therapist and a cardiologist, and for the first time in the history of our ministry we have an eye doctor. The optometrist has provided glasses to over 100 people.

These medical missionaries are sharing God’s love, patient education and prayer. These are rare and valuable gifts in these communities.

This is an amazing blessing for the people of Honduras and a great boost for our ministry.
