Saturday we arrived in Ballantine, South Carolina to spend an extended weekend with our dear friends from Faith Presbyterian Church. Faith has been one of the longest and most active churches in the history of our ministry in Honduras.
On Saturday evening we had a cookout with 35 people from Faith at the home of the Whites. We shared tons of stories and plenty of laughs with lots of people who have spent time with us in Honduras.
Sunday morning we were part of the Team Honduras missions presentation at Sunday school. The short-term team from Faith was in Honduras just five-weeks ago and we got to hear their presentation to the church. During the same report we were afforded some time to share our ministry with the church. It was a sweet time to be able to combine the short-term and long-term perspectives. Later in the morning we addressed the entire congregation with a missions moment during the morning service.
Monday morning we met with the church leadership for an intimate time of sharing and prayer.
We have always been big fans of Faith Presbyterian. Their hearts for missions and caring for missionaries is rare. We now leave South Carolina and move onto our seventh state in the past three weeks.
