Last week our new theological seminary in La Ceiba, Honduras opened for business. The first class being taught is a survey of the Old Testament. The instruction, mentoring and discipleship is being done by our teammates Mike T., Adam and Seth.
The classes will be designed specifically to teach Reformed theology to local Honduran pastors and church leaders. The seminary instruction will include mentoring the students through the course material. This first class has 10 students and will last eight weeks.
This new ministry has been years in the making. Lots of hard work, finances and prayers came together to make this day a reality. Until construction is finished on the permanent seminary building, classes will be taught at our downtown ministry center.
