On Sunday Erin returns to Honduras after attending the Global Missions Health Conference in Louisville, KY. The conference was put on by Medicalmissions.com and took place November 5-7. The conference was attended by 3,000 people. The conference helped connect missions to people who have a heart for mercy and medicine.
Erin helped staff the MTW booth in the exhibit hall. While working at the booth Erin was able to talk with dozens of people about medical missions. She shared her experiences and helped people figure out how they could get plugged in.
Erin was a panelist for a discussion on “Selecting an Agency.” This session consisted of five experienced medical missionaries who shared how they selected a missions agency with which to partner. The panel discussed missions philosophies, ministries focus and doctrinal differences.
The annual conference was a wonderful place for Erin to teach, learn and recruit.
