This weekend Mike and Erin attended a three-day missions conference hosted jointly by Trinity Presbyterian Church of Harrisburg, PA and Hershey Presbyterian of Hershey, PA. We were able to share our coming ministry in Equatorial Guinea.
On Friday we ate dinner at Trinity and heard a message preached on missions. We put up an information table and talked to dozens of people about our ministry in Central Africa.
Saturday morning we had breakfast at Trinity and then we presented our ministry twice during two breakout sessions. In the afternoon dozens of people gathered for a “concert of prayer” as we prayed for missionaries from every continent. Saturday night all the invited missionaries gathered at the pastor’s home for a meal and fellowship.
Sunday morning we went to Hershey Presbyterian and presented our ministry during Sunday school and hosted an information table. Later in the morning we returned to Trinity where Mike preached the morning message on missions from Acts 1:8. In the evening we gathered at Trinity for dinner, evening worship with a message on missions and prayer for the missionaries.
This was a very well organized missions conference. We handed out dozens of information packets about our work in Equatorial Guinea and received many new volunteers to pray for our ministry.
