On Saturday two students from the IBCP master’s program presented and defended their theses before a panel of IBCP professors. The panel consisted of Mike and seven other professors. The students also had friends, family and representatives from their church in attendance. Nearly 40 people in all were present.
One of the students presented his thesis on sexual abuse and the other student presented his thesis on polygamy. Both students fielded some hard questions and participated in some spirited debate. They both demonstrated the quality of education they received and an exemplary effort.
It was a joy to see their pride in their efforts as their hard work paid off. Both of the students are already active in local church leadership and look to glorify God in their communities in the future.
