Erin returned to the US to have two medical procedures taken care of. The most complicated of the two was an outpatient procedure on her esophagus, on Thursday. She had to go under general anesthesia for the procedure. She had a generous friend drive her to and from the doctor’s office and take care of her afterward. Erin’s throat was very soar for a few days. She was on a liquid diet for two days, but the procedure should repair a lifelong problem.

After a few minor complications she is on the mend. She is recovering just fine and will return to Africa at the end of this week. Please continue to pray for her rapid and full recovery and safe travels home. Her second medical procedure is on Tuesday. That one is less scary, but prayers for health and good test results are always appreciated.
