Reinventing Evangelism At Fuller Seminary

This week Mike has been at Fuller Theological Seminary taking a course on Reinventing Evangelism. This five day course started with reading 3,000 pages of evangelism books and writing 30 pages on evangelism. The course consisted of seven students and the professor discussing biblical conversion, evangelism techniques, cultural and generational differences, and historical evangelism.

The course truly made Mike and the other students contemplate how we share our faith. The class will conclude after each student submits a 35 page project outlining how they will implement evangelism in their ministry context. Mike’s project will involve how to include evangelism training in our training of missionaries. Surprisingly, missionaries share the gospel no better than laypeople. Our prayer is this helps launch missionaries who are better prepared to share Christ’s salvific work with the lost in the nations.
