Mike spent this past weekend with Faith Presbyterian Church in Irmo, South Carolina. Mike was afforded the opportunity to preach the Sunday morning service, deliver the children’s sermon, and then share our ministry with 75 folks at a lunch gathering after service.
Mike preached on Acts 1:8 and its purpose of connecting the Old Testament to the New Testament through Christ. There was lots of great interest in our new ministry with the West Coast Hub. Faith has been a wonderful part of our ministry team for over ten-years.
Mike was given the privilege to stay the weekend in the beautiful home of the Whites. It is always a joy to spend time with dear friends
On Sunday Mike spoke at Houston Lake Presbyterian Church in Kathleen, GA. Mike spoke during the adult Sunday school hour before church. In addition he made a missions presentation during service. Mike talked about our ministry in Equatorial Guinea and then shared about our new ministry creating the new MTW, West Coast Hub.
After church Mike joined the congregation for a church-wide lunch. During lunch Mike had lots of wonderful individual conversations.
Houston Lake has been involved in our ministry for many years. We have been close with many members of the staff and congregation. There were lots of great questions and lots of support for our ministry change.
On Sunday Erin spoke at Grace Community Church in Mobile, AL about our ministry in Equatorial Guinea and our new ministry starting the West Coast Hub. Grace has been involved in our ministry for over 10-years.
Erin had a wonderful time giving the group a 40-minute breakdown of our time in Africa and our new work. She provided lots of pictures and information and fielded lots of questions.
Our friends at Grace treated Erin so well. They provided meals and prayed with and for her.
This past weekend Erin spent time with Trinity Presbyterian Church of Harrisburg, PA. On Saturday the church hosted an intimate gathering for talk and food. Numerous people attended to hear Erin talk about on missions work.
On Sunday Erin spoke at Sunday school for 45 minutes. She spent 25 minutes recapping our work in Equatorial Guinea and then took 15 minutes to talk about our new ministry efforts launching the new MTW, West Coast Hub. There were lots of great questions during Q & A.
During church service Erin spent five minutes presenting the West Coast Hub to the church during a missions moment. After service Erin received plenty of new prayer and financial support for our new ministry efforts.
Trinity has been a big supporter of our work for years. We are thrilled to serve with them to fulfill God’s Great Commission.
On Sunday Mike spoke at Venture Christian Church in Murrieta, CA. Mike was given the opportunity to talk about our ministry during the Sunday school hour. Following Mike’s presentation he fielded some quality questions from the group. Several families and individuals agreed to join our team via prayer and financial support.
On Tuesday evening Mike spoke at the Venture’s Spanish language church. This is a small Spanish language church plant designed to reach out to the large Spanish speaking population in Southern California. Mike talked about our ministry and shared with the congregation about Equatorial Guinea, the only Spanish speaking country in Africa.
On Wednesday Mike starts the long journey back to Central Africa.
